I-DENTI-FIED’s Mobile Health application is a convenient service that allows individual health record owners or caregivers, who are authorized, to quickly and securely access the personal health information the owner has elected to share.
Access to the health record is controlled with physical security that banks use and is controlled by a unique member number associated with a unique 3 digit PIN , similar to user name and password in banking applications, encoded in a QR code. In addition, each time a scan is executed a log entry is generated and an email is sent to the member noting the scan took place and the name of the person performing the scan. New installations of the software on a mobile device require registration and assignment of an unlock code by I-DENTI-FIED. Mulitple invalid scans will cause the software to be locked and unusable until validation of identity can be established by I-DENTI-FIED.
